An experienced Town Meeting Member with 18 years of service to the Town of Belmont, on both Town Meeting and the Belmont School Committee, who understands the need for collaboration across town departments to secure the budge

An English teacher  committed to excellence who teaches students the power of literature and importance of inclusiveness & empathy across all areas of difference

 

An experienced advocate for creating safe and welcoming spaces in the Belmont as a co-founder of the Equity subcommittee of the Belmont School Committee and advocate for anti-bias curriculum, an equity director position in the BPS, and structural change of the systems within the town and BPS

 

A parent who understands the need for our children to have safe spaces after school to connect  with friends 

 

A lifelong avid reader who understands the value of learning about the world through literature
